It is always easy to be displease with oneself, others, and other things.
It is always easy to compare yourself with someone better.
It is always easy to find oneself lacking in one way or another.
It is always easy to just find the faults.
Everybody wants to move forward.
Everybody wants to be better.
Everybody craves for more.
But stop to look around.
Stop, to appreciate what you have now.
Stop, to be thankful for the flame of life you have now.
This flame of life allows you to go on.
So don't go treating it badly.
One day this flame will be taken away from you.
So till then, hold onto it tightly.
And enjoy what this little flame of life can bring to you.

Chef and the apprentice
Since I do not have to go to school today, I decided to help my mom with cooking. Finally time for me to show my "skills" in cooking! (Actually all I did was cut the vegetables and cut some more. :D)
Someday I do want to be able to cook on my own though~ Told my mom that she can "retire" and not cook anymore since our family have 4 new cooks, namely my elder brother, Mona (his gf), my second brother and his gf (Stephanie).
The first pair cook mostly spicy food, since Mona is from China and loves spicy food. The second pair cook just about anything they can find on YouTube (just like me!).
So then I told my mom, "Maybe I should focus on Japanese/ Korean cuisine, so you can enjoy all different kind of cuisine". *laughs*
If only our kitchen is big enough for 6 different cooks (including me) ~
Anyway here's the picture for today's adventure in the kitchen!
Hopefully I will be able to cook more often in future! It really is fun to cook. ^^
Cheers~

Chef Mama and me! |
I cut the tofu and the vege! Oh and stir-fried the spinach! It was pretty easy actually.
Proud of myself hehe~
And no, I can't handle fish yet. :P
