Today is a really long day. Shall start all the way from the beginning!
So I woke up at around 7+ and ate an apple with a few bites of guacamole. Again. I changed my workout because I really can't stand running. Change of plan. I did some kind of aerobics/yoga exercise? Here's the
link. :) Try it if you want. I really sweat a lot. And then I had my "morning tea" which is more guacamole and half a packet of Vitasoy. Then I'm off to meet Si Xian and Kai Wen for some grocery shopping. Finally this "hopeless" girl aka Kai Wen is trying to "cook" or maybe I should say make food herself. :P

We went Daiso first then after that head to Giant. And Kai Wen acts like a child, pushing the trolley and laughing to herself. But glad that she enjoyed herself. Shall make trips like this with her more often. :) Bought sushi maki in Giant and that's for my lunch and dinner.
After shopping I went to meet up with my primary school friend, Amanda. She was invited to an event, Aveda catwalks for water, and instead of another friend going with her, I went. It's a really cool event on hairstyles but it has a very noble purpose: to raise funds for building wells for people in underdeveloped countries so that they will have access to clean water nearer to their homes. Awesome.

We went to the event place a little earlier to view the backstage. I didn't get to see much but it is really busy. Outside at the registration area, there's a booth for styling your hair by their stylists. So me and Amanda was offered the opportunity to "style" our hair with their products by professional hands. It's a really awesome experience and when the stylist was making my hair, more and more people strolled in and took pictures. Somehow I really felt pampered and honored. What the stylist did was to make both me and Amanda's hair look more smoother and softer. It was really splendid. But the electricity tripped trice when it was my turn. :(
One of the Aveda's staff showed me Blue Oil, which is something like an aroma essence. It had a tinge of mint and really able to perks me up. Love the smell. Ahh~

When the stylist was making my hair, a guy make-up artist asked if I would like to touch up my make-up. I said yes and he helped me to apply blush and lip gloss. Pretty~ *-* See, I told you I'm pampered!
After that we went to the dining area. I didn't want to it at first but Amanda said to get some food in because the show will be long. So I popped in some pastries.
One Éclair, one cream puff, one oreo cheesecake, one normal cheesecake. I counted a total of about 600 calories.
Oh no....
So, my punishment for that is to exercise for one hour on day 3. I can do this! And wow, this sure is a long post!
The show started at about 8+ and I only got back home at 11+. Don't really have the energy to go into details on
what happened during the show. Let the pictures tell you. :)
On the way back home, me and Amanda chatted. Oh we chatted a lot on our way to the event too! About guys and stuff and you-know-what. :P One take-away from her today is that on average, humans are able to pick up a habit in 30 days. So, I'm going to persevere this for at least 30 days. Then it will become a habit to blog everyday or few days. :) Anyway, less words more pics! Sorry couldn't get a lot of pictures 'cause I do not have a proper camera... couldn't get nice zoom on the models and stylists :( But do enjoy the pictures I posted!
Cheers, Ting
