Forgot to add this yesterday. Ying Xiang, my secondary school choir senior, pm-ed me on Facebook. She started off like this "... forgive me for being such a busybody, but I read yours, Si Xian and Kai Wen's blogs and noticed you all want to lose weight?" At first I thought she was going to discourage me! And going to lecture me about how diet may harm your health or whatsoever. But no! She supports me and told me of a diet that can help me lose weight in a long term. Guess the diet? Well, it's the vegan diet. Well, if you don't know the meaning of vegan, it actually means someone who doesn't eat nor use any animal products at all.
I was like wow... I can try but it will be hard. I mean I do like eggs and milk and jelly which has gelatin. But then she gave me this link about why meat or animal food products can be harmful to your body. And I'm considering; maybe I can try reducing the amount of meat I take in? So far, I have no eaten meat. Yet.
So if any of you out there is interested about what the experts have to say about this diet, go on and click the link! Beware, it's a 1 hour plus long documentary. I watched it while mapling. :P It's useful and you can gain knowledge!
Then we chatted about jaw surgery. She did it last year October and it will soon be my turn. This year 6 of September. I'm pretty nervous for it. Can't wait to see my change and all. Anyway I can't know for certain how it feels till I experienced it myself. So, readers, you will have to wait till September before you can get any updates about this surgery from me! Till then, be patient. Haha!
Cheers, Ting
p.s. I know someone will never try this diet. ;)
